Red and White Wines: a storage solution
The wines are drinks unique in that its taste can vary dramatically from one winery to the other and a type of grape to another. This is what makes it interesting for us to drink wine, compare and enjoy. However, these same variations also tend to complicate their respective wine storage and aging processes.
Red wine is fermented with the juices and solids (skin and pulp) mixed. Moreover, grape juice separates from the solids is used to make white wine. Red wines are often improved aging from five to fifteen years. white wines are generally made to be consumed immediately and aging them beyond three years may actually be detrimental to your enjoyment.
Many information sites come to generalize that the ideal temperature for wine storage is 55 degrees F. Some wine sites to establish a range of temperatures for red wines, 50 to 64 degrees F., while White wines range from 41 to 50 degrees F. Because white wines generally age faster than red wines by storing them at a cooler temperature decrease their aging processes and allow them to be stored longer than if higher temperatures. Storage of red wine a slightly higher temperature white wines to allow them to age within a reasonable time.
What is the best solution for wine storage, when enjoying red wine and wine is your desired goal? Investing in a wine refrigerator or wine cooler designed with two different storage areas is the best solution. Commonly known as soda dual zone wine, these devices have two separate systems and independently controlled temperature environments: one for red wines and one for whites. This type of winery allows the wine enthusiast to "enjoy the best of both worlds."
Dual zone wine coolers come in two basic configurations. The configuration most common is to have two separate areas at the top and bottom of your wine cellar. Each of these two compartments have their own temperature controls concerned. Another setting you can buy is the side-by-side configuration. This type of common wine cooler has what is often called "Doors the French ". Either configuration will improve the look of your home and solve the problem of storage and aging of the different types of wine.
