Where is a place to store wine in a period of months or years?
I have no cellar that I can use … would be a grid a kitchen on the ground thats just cupboardn can be used?
Depends on the quality of the wine. If it's cheap "The sample of 'plonk then it is not designed to be set anyway. It is designed to be drunk within a year at most. However, if it is decent quality wines and is seeking actively for delivery to age, then one must put in a cool, dark place (preferably about 12 degrees Celsius) with a constant, even temperature and moisture (again, not too wet and definitely not too dry). The only place that meets these criteria is a basement! A shelf in a kitchen is a bad idea: too many fluctuations in temperature and humidity in the kitchen. If you need to find a place in the house, then a shelf under the stairs is usually the best option is night, less prone to wild fluctuations in temperature and the wine can be placed there undisturbed for as long as necessary.
