What kind of sauce is best for my plate of chicken.?

I'm looking for something different. I'm doing my mother for her birthday dinner. im doing your breast chicken with brie cheese, fresh basil. (Sides: asparagus, roasted red potatoes.) What is it that you would do better with the onions and orange sauce chardonnay or marsala wine and mushroom sauce?

because of the basil and sides, potatoes and asparagus in red, I would use marsala wine sauce and mushrooms orange shallot sauce do not go well with the sides. Enjoy!

I Love Organic Wine – a Dolcetto from Italy

The region of Piedmont in northern Italy produces some great wines, none of which are based the Dolcetto grape. Dolcetto means little sweet things in Italy and is the most popular grape in Piedmont. There are seven Dolcetto wine names based on different small areas all put in the southeast of this beautiful region. It takes an expert to distinguish them. I can not think of many Piedmont Wine Tasting much more exciting than trying to distinguish among the seven Dolcetto.

Opinion Vino Rosso Bricco Dolcetto di Dogliani 2006 13.0% alcohol about $ 16.50

Let's start by quoting the marketing materials. Description: Dolcetto Piedmont is popular easy-drinking red variety. Deep in color and full of flavor, this dry, smooth-textured wine is meant to be enjoyed young, while his Barolos Barbaresco and sleep in the basement. This version deliciously fragrant and full bodied with notes of raspberry, black cherry and nuts. It makes a great summer red barbecue gourmet sausages. Our Quality Assurance laboratory has determined that this wine contains 6 mg / L of free sulfur. And now for my review.

The first sips snuff me and almost without tannins. The initial food involved linking ribs simmered beef and potatoes. The wine had a touch of sweetness and flavor of the cherry. It shows good acidity and dealt well with fat meat. When I took a little spicy green jalapeño, Dolcetto reached its power to meet the challenge.

The second match involved commercially chicken thighs grilled in a light herb sauce. The Dolcetto was pretty quiet. It had a note of black cherries and a little of snuff, with virtually no tannins. Its length was measured. The dark wine when combined with accompanying deli-style potato salad.

The final meal about merguez, a spicy lamb sausage from North Africa. The wine is weakened and light taste of cherries. With jalapeño sauce fruit remained. No tannins at any time during this meal.

Finished with two pairs tasting cheese. When tested with a marble cheddar cheese, Dolcetto had severe heartburn. Then I tried a cheese from sheep's milk feta. This time things went better. The wine was round and quite long. Its fruit was not bad.

The final verdict. I would not buy this wine again. I know the economic reality means more cost organic wines. But this wine was not able to overcome most of the $ 10 wines that are reviewed in another column.
