Wine Tasting Classes
Good, reasonably priced cooking class in Florence?
I am looking for a day cooking class / lesson while in Florence, Italy this summer my wife and mother. They are vegetarians. Online I found a few options, but I wonder what looks like a reasonable price for something like this. Us We are not wine drinkers, so it's a wine tasting'm also. We're seeing classes / lessons for somewhere around 120-190 euros each. Seems a bit expensive, but might also seem reasonable too, I guess. Obviously I have no idea. What seems reasonable to learn to cook a couple dishes and (hopefully) a desert? Can you recommend anyone in particular, in Florence (preferably from experience)? Thanks!
I studied abroad in Florence a couple of years ago and took a vegetarian cooking class Apicius culinary school there. It was a great class and loved the chef. She was awesome and knew what he was doing. We all kinds of dishes including desserts. I have never taken their classes one day because I was enrolled in school. I know they offer classes in a single day, so I definitely recommend checking out this school. I think those prices are normal, but I'm not sure.
