Mailed mail info @ italyabroad and sent me a special 10% discount eVoucher. Anyone else tried the wines on this site? any recommendations?
Did not know any wines from this website. However, if you are seriously interested in Italian wines, then you have to go to Zachys.com and read what Andrew has to say. It is the main source of imported Italian wines to the U.S. Not really sure why they'd go for an organic wine, but if you prefer, enjoy.
I love French wine and food – a Beaujolais Nouveau 2007 Date
This article examines an extremely successful marketing campaign – Beaujolais Nouveau French red wine that arrives just in time for Thanksgiving. This wine is released for sale at one minute after midnight on the third Thursday of November. In the next 24 hours more than a million cases were sold. During the next few years, consumers worldwide will buy more than 65 million bottles. Approximately 4 million bottles exported to the United States, and 7 million in Japan and Germany. On the negative side million bottles last year's production was destroyed before the release of the 2007 harvest.
new wines are usually bright red or purple. They tend to be fruity, tasting of cherry, strawberry, raspberry, banana, and freshly squeezed grapes, depending on the variety of grapes used, production methods, and the area in which the grapes are grown. Detractors talk about bubble gum, lollipops, nail polish, and jello. Many argue that the new tastes of wine grape juice with alcohol. One thing is certain: if you are not happy with a wine again, do not save far from trying again in two years. It will not improve over time.
Let me give you a candy check some data before one of the best wines of Beaujolais Nouveau. This wine comes from the Beaujolais region of southeastern France and is made from Gamay grapes, which was expelled from the world-famous, neighboring Burgundy region in 1395. By law, all grapes in the Beaujolais region must be picked by hand. Champagne is the only other French region prohibiting mechanical harvesting. While Beaujolais Nouveau was first regulated in 1938, which is derived from the ancient times when a somewhat similar wine was produced by slaves. History does not record his reaction. Let's look mine.
Before reviewing the Beaujolais Nouveau wine and imported cheeses that we bought at a local wine shop and a local imported food store, here are some suggestions of what to eat with these wines: Start with Salade Frisee aux Lardons (Curly Lettuce and Bacon Salad.) For your second course savor Pot au Feu (Ribs with Bone Marrow). And as dessert indulge yourself with poires pochen au Miel (Honey Poached Pears).

Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Review Mommessin 2007 12% of $ 13.50 I bought this bottle of only a few days after the release of Beaujolais Nouveau 2007 (November 15, 2007), and offer more expensive French and Italian Vino Novello (new wine) a very similar Italian deliveries. As I hope is not a policy change my provider does not include any marketing materials. Here are the comments from another vendor: dry and pleasant 'cherry bright berry aromas, with enough tannins to stand up to richer foods. And now, my reactions.
My first pairing of this wine involved in packaging Eggplant Parmesan prior to which I added a bunch of grated parmesan cheese. The first thing that struck me was the taste of chewing gum, more or less dominates all others. The wine was nice, but not much else. I can not think in 1970 the parties that the people were younger and the wine was on the point of transcendence.
The next meal consisted of beef stew cooked slowly with potatoes. The wine exhibited some black cherry and flavors of apple, but the gum was present but not dominant. The Beaujolais Nouveau was mildly acidic with an average length.
Then I tried this wine with sliced pies fried chicken breast, potato pies and Turkish salad. The wine seemed a little rounder than before. My lack of observations is due, at least in part to the scarcity of the wine of presence. As that almost was not there.
The first cheese was a Emmenthaler German (Swiss type) that is beginning to age. The wine was fairly thin, but some fruit managed to get out and guess what, no gum at all. The change may have occurred when the wine aged in bottles for a few days. It could conduct a scientific experiment a bit to test this hypothesis with another bottle of this wine. Not a chance. He continued with a French goat cheese has become larger than necessary. The cheese provided the wine almost tasteless. The wine was overwhelmed. I was overwhelmed.
The final verdict. Can you guess? Once more I had. For this price you have to be able to get something halfway decent. And yet while your server Beaujolais Nouveau wines are around I'll be testing them.
