Wine Tasting Fundraisers
How much wine should enable each person in a tasting event?
I am planning a wine tasting event to raise funds. We'll be serving 4 or 5 different wines. How much wine should you buy? As a fundraiser, we do not lose money by doing away with the wine unopened. Please indicate the amounts and 1 bottle of each wine for every 5 persons, 10 persons, etc.
If you plan to drink wine 1 bottle for 4 and 1 / 2 servings – however, a taste, is much less about 1 ounce per taster (about 30ml) is approximately 25 tastings per bottle (750ml). I recommend buying an extra bottle for sale (just twice its price purchase) or make a deal with a local wine seller to give you a commission for referring people for additional bottles. Having a card in hand with the names of the vendors, address and a list of tasting the wines and a score of 1-5 for the taster to keep you to remember your favorite wines. Do not forget to have a selection of cheeses and crackers and grapes and lots of water to cleanse the palette (I recommend having a large bowl with slices of cucumber in it for thorough cleaning sugars in wine) – then pour into small jars on the fly.
